Soltose™ is a product designed to control salmonellae and replace antibiotics and drugs in animal feeds. The prepared drug-free feeds will help to meet HACCP standard. Soltose™ contains selected strains of live Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, and Lactobacilius lactis, and cell wall lyase, a unique exo-enzyme from B. licheniformis. This enzyme can decompose cell wall of salmonellae and inhibit the growth of salmonellae. These active bacteria and enzymes work together to inhibit the growth of pathogenic and harmful microbes including salmonellae, E. coli, and clostridia in the gut and, hence, prevent diseases caused by these microbes and avoid salmonella contamination of carcass or eggs.
Recent studies also suggest SoltoseTM help to inhibit coccidia. B. subtilis, B. licheniformis, and L. lactis are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by US-FDA and can be used freely in animal feeds. Soltose™ also contains highly active digestive enzymes including ß-xylanase, α-amylase, and protease, which can promote growth and improve feed conversion ratio.
